Why do good girls fall for the bad guys? Such is the case with gangster Pinkie Brown and Rose, the waitress. Set against the stunning back drop of the pier at the coastal town of Brighton, Pinkie viciously batters a rival gang member. Rose gets to know the truth, but being dim (we suspect), she marries him. This movie is another dark look into the lives of thugs.
